She loves working with all kinds of horses, seeing the best in each horse. Striving to bring out the best is a process she truly enjoys. Alex takes great satisfaction in helping horses and riders fulfill their best potential. She works to ensure that all clients experience the joy of riding as well as the satisfaction of improving their skills in a safe, fun, and positive environment.
Alex is a well-rounded equestrian that started out riding when she was just five years old. That love for horses carried her through lessons as a child, where she participated in local shows and even larger Pair Paces back in Louisiana. Alex continues her riding through high school with her first horse 'Lucy', then continued to ride through her time at Sweet Briar College. While there, she worked with problem horses each semester, training them to be used in the riding program. After college Alex purchased the horse she still owns today, a trakehner mare named Rahxephon 'Razi' who can be seen in the riding program. Alexandra trained with Tristan Hardy, who specializes in Dressage, while living in Virginia, she then trained with Daniel Weber in Pennsylvania where she learned Natural Horsemanship.
